I started in Ogawamachi with a light café lunch and a taiyaki (a fish-shaped cake filled with sweet potato paste). Then I walked up to Ochanomizu, where I got a few more alcohol ink art supplies at the aptly-named Tools art supplies store. Afterwards, I enjoyed the sunny December afternoon by walking down towards Suidobashi Station.

Taiyaki (fish-shaped cake) - they are usually filled with sweet-bean paste, but this one was a sweet-potato variety. The decoration in the background is related to 2025, the Year of the Snake. © 2024 Norbert Woehnl Photography.
