Today's lunch set meal at this restaurant in the Chiyoda Ward of Tokyo consisted of chicken thighs marinated in salted rice malt, miso soup, rice and some small sides.

Afterwards, my wife and I went to Tachikawa in western Tokyo. Upon arrival at the station, I collected its "eki stamp" with the JR-East app.

In a shopping center near the station, I saw this t-shirt. The image is “inspired by” the Beatles' Abbey Road cover, showing four superhero-styled colorful characters walking across a zebra crossing. The title is “The Beersuki” (approximately “the beer-lovers”). “Yoidore” means “drunk”. And then, the inspirational inscription at the bottom: “Heroes who love alcohol. In order to protect world peace, he drinks alcohol every day and fights. Alcohol is a wonderful thing that brings smiles to people all over the world!”

Lastly, during a short coffee break, I took this photo of some of the typical scenery around Tachikawa Station.
